                                    Matthew 1:1 This is a record of the life of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.Isaiah 7:13-14 %u201cAnd he said, \that you weary my God also? Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (meaning God with us).%u201d Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah happened in this way. When his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, before they lived together, she was discovered to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:31-33 Hundreds of years later the angel Gabriel told the virgin Mary she would have a son and %u201cshall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most-High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.%u201d Micah 5:2 %u201cBut you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.%u201d Mathew 2:1-6 %u201cAfter Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod%u2026 King Herod %u2026called together all the people%u2019s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. %u201cIn Bethlehem in Judea,%u201d they replied.%u2019%u2019Zechariah 9:9 %u201cRejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.%u201d Matthew 21:6-7 %u201cAnd the disciples went, and did even as Jesus appointed them, and brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their garments; and he sat thereon.%u201d Isaiah 53:5 %u201cBut he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.%u201dMatthew 27:26 %u201cThen released he unto them Barabbas; but Jesus he scourged and delivered to be crucified.%u201dIsaiah 53:7 %u201cHe was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.%u201d
